Marylandtaxes Online Services Scheduled Power Outage on Saturday October 14, 2017

The Marylandtaxes Online Services has scheduled a power outage on Saturday October 14, 2017 in order to perform maintenance on our primary and backup electrical systems; this outage will help us to prevent unscheduled outages in the future.

Please be aware of the following estimates for service interruptions:

  • The Online Services will be unavailable after 5:00 a.m. Saturday October 14 (after tape backups are completed). Online Services is scheduled to resume by 7:30 p.m. Saturday October 14.

Comptroller Branch Office in Upper Marlboro Closed for Remainder of Monday, August 21

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (August 21, 2017) – The Comptroller’s Office branch location in the Prince George’s County Courthouse in Upper Marlboro will be closed for the remainder of today due to the lack of air conditioning in the building. Taxpayers may visit Comptroller offices in Greenbelt and in Annapolis at the Revenue Administration Center, which are open with regular hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Taxpayers in need of free state tax assistance can continue to call the taxpayer services line from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1-800-MD TAXES, or 410-260-7980.

Most Regional Branches of Maryland Comptroller’s Office Re-Open Today Following Storm Clean-up

Regular Hours Resume in All Offices Except Frederick and Towson Branches
 

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (January 27, 2016) – Comptroller Branch Offices in Elkton, Landover, Upper Marlboro, Waldorf and Wheaton will re-open today after being closed due to weather-related issues. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Due to Frederick County government offices being closed today, the Frederick Branch will be closed to walk-in service. The Towson Office also will remain closed while repairs are made from water damage due to a burst pipe.

The Comptroller’s other offices in Annapolis, Baltimore, Cumberland, Hagerstown and Salisbury remain open with regular hours. Taxpayers in need of free state tax assistance can continue to call the taxpayer services line from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1-800-MD TAXES, or 410-260-7980. With staffing limitations due to the weather, taxpayers can expect longer wait times for assistance.

Weather Prompts Closing of Regional Branches of Maryland Comptroller’s Office

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (January26, 2016) – Due to issues related to the snow storm, the following Comptroller Branch Offices will remain closed today: Elkton, Frederick, Landover, Towson, Upper Marlboro, Waldorf and Wheaton.

The Annapolis, Cumberland, Hagerstown and Salisbury are open today with regular hours. The Baltimore office will open at noon. Taxpayers in need of free state tax assistance can continue to call the taxpayer services line from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1-800-MD TAXES, or 410-260-7980. With staffing limitations due to the weather, taxpayers can expect longer wait times for assistance. An updated list of re-opened offices will be released when the information is available.
