General Procurements are all non-information technology procurements to acquire the commodities and services that are needed to carry out the Comptroller's mission to collect taxes and provide superior services to the people of Maryland. 

Maryland's Procurement Process

Authority: The statute governing Maryland's procurement process can be found in the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Finance and Procurement Article.  The administrative regulations covering procurement issues can be found in COMAR, Title 21 - State Procurement Regulations.

Approval Authorities: The state authorities charged with the responsibility of overseeing Maryland's procurement process are:
